Welcome to the website of Jeremy Pike, composer, who works in north west England. His extensive output includes orchestral, chamber, instrumental and vocal music. It is written in a deeply personal style which combines an interest in new techniques with strong elements of tonality. He is known for the powerful, expressive qualities of his music and a belief that music should be always be accessible to audiences whilst also being stimulating and thought-provoking.
In addition to writing music he is also a conductor and pianist, giving acclaimed recitals with his international violinist daughter Jennifer. Jeremy Pike is Head of Composition at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester.
